Apple updates its Podcasts app and adds 19 content categories

As announced at WWDC, Apple has updated its Podcasts application to add new categories and sub-categories. 

The goal: to facilitate browsing within the catalog, and find more relevant content according to the desires of users.

19 new categories available

Finding yourself in the gargantuan catalog of Apple Podcasts was a challenge until yesterday. Today, Apple has added no less than 19 new categories and as many subcategories to better distribute the content according to the interests of its users.

Apple also offers thematic rankings on each new category to showcase the most popular podcasts of each.
