Ken's survivor aka Hokuto no Ken, or Fist of the North Star, will soon rediscover this manga reference through mobile gaming. Indeed, SEGA is developing an RPG faithful to the original story for iOS and Android. Pre-registrations for "Fist of the North Star: Legends ReVIVE" are open, and the game is expected to be released by the end of 2019.
While originally planned for Japan only, the Fist of the North Star mobile game: Legends ReVIVE is entitled to a Western version.
Ken the survivor soon in RPG on Android
The universe of Ken the survivor, regularly adapted in video games for home consoles, will finally be adapted for mobile iOS and Android. After Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise in 2018 on PS4, SEGA will be out by the end of the year Fist of the North Star: Legends ReVIVE. Very loyal to the anime Hokuto no Ken, or Ken the survivor, at home, the game will offer a new version of the story, around the loss of the secrets of the mastery of Hokuto Shinken.
The player will then have to gather the fragments of the stone monument which contains the memory of the emblematic characters of the saga. For this, he will have to form a team with the characters of the game and fight to advance in the plot. For now, SEGA has not released a specific release date, nor how the game will be monetized. We imagine that it will probably be free, with paid content.
Gameplay unveiled in the trailer
The Fist of the North Star: ReVIVE Legends, which will be available in English, was designed under the direction of Tetsuo Hara, author of the Hokuto no Ken manga. Through the trailer, you can discover the flashy graphics of the game and some traces of gameplay. It will be necessary to build a team with the many characters of Ken the survivor and to fight away to the victory, while exploring an original story, like a MARVEL Strike Force.
It's possible to pre-register on the Play Store to be one of the first players to launch Fist of the North Star: ReVIVE Legends. Moreover, at each level of pre-registration, rewards are unlocked. Today, the level of 200 000 pre-registered has been crossed.
