Stadia controllers will not support bluetooth headphones at launch

Next November, Google will deploy Stadia, its cloud gaming service. But before that, the American brand tries to reassure the players refractory to dematerialize.

Alas, the latest news is not necessarily good since the launch of Stadia, concessions will obviously be put ...

Chromecast Ultra and Pixel 3 de rigueur

To play on Stadia at the end of the year, users must have a Google Chromecast Ultra and a Stadia controller. Only buyers of the "  Founder Edition  " will be able to access the platform.

Another bad news: to play on Stadia on mobile, it will be necessary to be equipped with a Google Pixel 3 or Pixel 3a, at least at first. These restrictions have something to cringe but it does not stop there ...

The controller does its own

Indeed, the company led by Sundar Pichai announced on Reddit that the famous Stadia controller will not be compatible with Bluetooth headphones and headphones. It will, therefore, be necessary to connect a cable to the 3.5 mm jack of the "  controller  " to enjoy a direct sound.

However, Google recommends future users to connect their Bluetooth headset directly to the device on which they will access the service (computer, TV ...), provided it is compatible of course ...

In short, it's it is only a detail, we are still facing a restriction that can be quite painful. In November, Stadia will be clearly not accessible to everyone, especially since the free offer named Stadia Base will not arrive before 2020.
