Halo reach PC |
Almost nine years after its initial release on Xbox 360, Halo: Reach is finally preparing to land on PC. Some lucky people can already test the beta but abuse has also been reported, with a pirate version that strolls on the web. Fraudsters are warned, Microsoft will crack!
Master Chief arrives on PC and it's not for fun!
If we do not yet know its exact release date, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is well on its way out on PC. After years of waiting, PCistes will finally (re) discover the famous saga of FPS via the Windows Store and Steam. All the titles will be put online as and when starting with Halo: Reach. The latter will also be added to the compilation on Xbox One in the near future.
Currently, 343 Industries Holds a PC Beta Session for Halo: Reach. The few selected to participate (about 1,000 people) can now try a campaign mission. Despite this small scale test, the famous beta has already been hacked and made available to the world by unscrupulous testers. If the developers could have been content to ignore this incident, they finally communicated about it.
Better to think twice ...
It was through Tyler Davis, in charge of community support for the studio, that 343 Industries announced heavy penalties for fraudsters. Here's what Davis said in a tweet: " If you download or play the illegal copy, we have permission to ban all your associated accounts and exclude you from all current and future programs of 343 Industries ."
Drastic measures that could have serious consequences for some users. Indeed, a player concerned would lose access to all of his dematerialized purchases on both Xbox One and Windows 10(if the two accounts are linked, which is often the case). In short, it is better to be patient and wait quietly for the official release of Halo: Reach on PC.
