Like the Apple Watch, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will ship an electrocardiogram

In 2018, the Apple brand has once again imposed itself in the field of connected watches with its Apple Watch Series 4.

Health at the heart of connected watches

If the Apple Watch Series 4 embeds a multitude of features, one of them particularly caught the eye last September. Indeed, this watch was the first to be equipped directly with an electrocardiogram. We know the song when something works in a brand, the others are eager to resume their sauce. This is what Samsung seems to be planning to do. 

According to sources contacted by the Dutch website SamMobile, the South Korean company is already preparing it's Galaxy Watch Active 2. While visuals of this new model are found on the canvas there is little, it is the turn of the functions of fuiter. the connected watch would also be equipped with an electrocardiogram. The user will be able to consult his heartbeat as soon as he wants and thus detect a potential anomaly.

Apple created, competition copy?

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 should also be equipped with the technology of detection of falls also present on the latest model dated Apple. If a person wearing the watch falls, the device prompts them to contact emergency services via a notification. If the user does not give directions, the watch will call emergencies automatically. 

It is still amazing to discover all this information as quickly as the first Galaxy Watch Active name is available for only a few weeks. Other rumors around this second version evoke a design almost unchanged, two sizes (40 mm and 44 mm) and a new version of One UI.
