The Jaguar XJ as we know it is over since the next version will opt for a zero-emission engine.

Jaguar electrifies his sedan XJ

The Jaguar group will soon launch a 100% electric sedan to compete effectively Tesla Model S and other Porsche Taycan. A new generation Jaguar XJ, which will have a "zero-emission" engine. 

Note that this is not the first electric vehicle "  made by Jaguar  ", since the manufacturer already offers on the market, for a few months, I-Pace, which also knows a certain success. Obviously, Jaguar promises a vehicle perfectly in line with the manufacturer's codes, namely "  a beautiful design, intelligent performance, and respected luxury  ".

A model made in the UK  ?

Note that this new electric Jaguar XJ will be assembled in Great Britain, Castle Bromwich very precisely. The plant will also host the MLA platform, which will produce the future vehicles of the group.

The batteries will be produced at Hams Hall, a site that will open next year, with the possibility of delivering 150,000 units each year. 

"  The future of mobility is electric and we are committed to manufacturing our next generation of zero-emission vehicles in the UK,  " said Ralf Speth, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover Group. Recall that the group Jaguar Land Rover is owned by the Indian giant Tata Motors.
