For the anniversary of the App Store, Apple reissues its Texas Hold'em poker game

While currently taking place the 50 th edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) of the Las Vegas side, Apple is preparing to give a second life to one of his first mobile games of its store, Apple's Texas Hold 'em, on the occasion of 10 years of his online store.

Chance of the calendar or not, the coincidence remains appreciable. To celebrate the first ten candles of its Apple Store - although they were blown up a year ago - the Apple brand has decided to revive one of the first mobile games of its shop, Apple's Texas Hold 'em, while now in full swing the 50 th edition world Series of Poker (WSOP).

In free-to-play mode

Originally launched in 2006 on iPod - the Apple Store did not exist at the time - and then deployed on iPhone in 2008 for 3.99 euros, the game of poker that espouses one of the most popular variants of our time ( No-Limit Hold 'em, so), this time comes in a different format: free-to-play . In other words, anyone will be able to download it and play it for free.

"  Originally created for iPod and then deployed on the iPhone, Apple's Texas Hold'em will please fans with its neat redesign, including new characters, challenges and stunning graphics for the iPhone and iPod touch. Players will also enjoy playing for free - for the first time,  "reads the presentation sheet of the mobile application.

Hit the box with friends

This 2019 version brings a lot of novelties. In addition to being able to cross swords with 24 other opponents, users will be able to compete with friends in an eight-player game via a WiFi network. Accumulating wins will also give you access to new places - ten in total, including Las Vegas, Paris, and Macao - with bigger financial stakes, delivering bigger rewards.

Also on the program: the appearance of statistics, notes and the level of participants, but also the ability to switch the view to the first person or landscape, in the manner of gaming operators currently on the market. Compatible on iOS versions 12 and later, Apple's Texas Hold'em will take 1.5 GB of storage on your mobile device.
