Unveiled in 2018, the prototype of the Zeus 2020 immediately seduced thanks to its incomparable style. Regularly updated by Curtiss Motorcycles, the American gradually takes life. Last modification in date? A powerful electric battery that is reminiscent of a V8 engine.
While waiting for the beginning of its production, announced at the beginning of 2020, the Curtiss Zeus is fine-tuned by little touches. Although everything is not yet final, attests to the new battery, it is still possible to register on the site of the manufacturer to be among the first buyers.
A battery with inimitable style
Curtiss Motorcycles continues to make headlines. This time, it is with an imposing electric battery V8- like that the manufacturer has surprised his world. Presented in late 2018, the concept of this battery had already divided the middle of the bike. While some praised the stylistic innovation, others regretted a format reminiscent of gasoline engines.
It is true that the choice is astonishing: the battery cells take place in eight cylindrical housings, interconnected by cables, giving the set a style reminiscent of the powerful V8.
Record autonomy for unprecedented performances
Beyond the aesthetic bias, the future battery of the Zeus 2020 pushes the limits of the electric. Thanks to its eight cylinders arranged in "V", it has a record capacity of 16.8 kWh. Far ahead of the Zero Motorcycles DS and its 14.4 kWh (in standard version). If the mystery has not yet been raised, the rumor runs that this battery would offer a maximum range of 450 kilometers.
