Samsung has just launched Bixby Marketplace, a store of services and apps related to the personal assistant, which has yet to make a name.
The virtual assistant of Samsung, Bixby, may have an attractive name, but since its gradual launch in 2017, its popularity is not the most exceptional. To boost interest around the wizard, the Korean manufacturer has announced the opening of the Bixby Marketplace. As you say right now: for France, it will still wait. For the moment, only the United States and South Korea will be able to benefit.
Apps and services called "capsules"
With its marketplace, Bixby will offer users a whole lot of services and applications. Samsung calls them "capsules". Once on the shop, the user can discover the famous capsules, which are classified in various categories such as sports, finance, shopping, education, etc.
It is also possible to search by capsule name, keyword or developer name. Some services and apps will be directly offered, with the opinions of users, who can obviously evaluate and comment on the capsules they use.
A customizable experience
Those who seek the Bixby Marketplace will no doubt appreciate its personalization aspect. It is indeed possible to preset capsules for certain types of requests and as needed. If you inform Bixby that you wish to be transported by Uber to the nearest station of your home, you will not have to ask him again if the opportunity is represented. The assistant will do it for you.
Samsung is strengthening the ecosystem around its personal assistant, Bixby. The latter is already open to third-party developers since November. More major updates will be announced at the upcoming Samsung Developer Conference on October 29 and 30 in San Jose, USA.
