Good or bad idea, Audi has tried: several drivers have noted that to present its electric e-Tron, Audi used Tesla charging stations.
Parking an Audi e-Tron vehicle close Tesla Surcharger to advertise a new electric model is the method adopted by Audi ... Not sure that this is enough to convince the owners of Tesla.
A surprising marketing plan
Launched last year, the Audi e-Tron SUVs had begun to raise some difficulties when they went into production, then once on the road, when Audi was forced to recall some of them for defects in drums.
To make up for this, it seems that the automaker has decided to bet on advertising. It is also one of the few "traditional" manufacturers to use this type of promotional campaign to boost its electric vehicles.

There are witty forms of guerrilla marketing - from my point of view, Audi’s approach is just pathetic! They should put their efforts in convincing #ICE drivers, for climate’s sake! pic.twitter.com/QFIFibnJF8
Here is the method adopted: park the e-Tron directly near the Tesla Supercharger or even in the Musk vehicle parking area.
This marketing method could be quit or double for Audi: attract potential customers or conversely, attract the wrath of Tesla owners.
