Google has formalized, on the Twitter account dedicated to the brand's products, the new design of the next Pixel 4. These visuals confirm the square camera block and the presence of two photo objectives.
After the publication yesterday of the first 3D renderings, Google confirms that its next smartphone Pixel (which will be called Pixel 4 ) will be entitled to a redesigned design.
Leaks indicated a change in design
Based on information from leaked technical drawings, the Pricebaba site presented two visuals showing the alleged look of the future Google phone, and in particular its square camera block, very close to that which would equip the iPhone XI.
Google preferred to react immediately, rather than let the noise run for too long say that its Pixel 4 was inspired too much by what Apple would propose in September. The web giant has used the Twitter account " Made by Google ", dedicated to its products, to share an official photo of the back of the phone.
The Pixel 4 succumbs well to the double photosensor
It is now confirmed, Google will trade its only camera by a system with two objectives, housed in the space that also houses a flash and another sensor, still mysterious. At the time of writing, it is unclear whether the second sensor will offer an optical zoom or ultra-wide angle, as Samsung offers with the Galaxy S10 or Huawei's P30.
The image shows, moreover, that the fingerprint sensor will not be part of this next device; it should be replaced by an integrated solution on the screen or by a facial recognition module.
Google reveals here only the back of the device, the presentation of the Pixel 4 next October ... Unless other leaks come to annoy once again his plans.
