Nintendo could open its Online Switch to Gamecube and Nintendo 64 games

In addition to NES games, Nintendo would soon be offering Nintendo 64 and GameCube games via the Switch Online service. 

As part of Nintendo's 79th annual conference, Shuntaro Furukawa Group President was asked about the possible arrival of GameCube and Nintendo 64 games via Switch Online.

To more "Classic" games via the Nintendo Switch Online?

"  At the moment, we can not give new information on the future of this" Classic "game line, but we plan to provide an extension of the Switch Online service that currently offers NES games. We also know that some players would like to play other titles of the past ...,  "said Shuntaro Furukawa. 

Available since September 2018, the Nintendo Switch Online offers various privileges (including online gaming) and the ability to download free titles from the NES games library. 

The service has nearly 10 million subscribers and many people would like to be able to find old titles from catalogs Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, GameCube or GameBoy. To be continued.
