Telegram Crypto Gram Now Available for Sale

Gram is Telegram's new cryptocurrency that has been on the market since Wednesday.

If it is not officially related to Telegram, Gram should allow observing the interest of the general public for cryptocurrency.

The first consumer cryptocurrency?

To measure the appreciation of the general public for cryptocurrencies? That's one of Gram's goals since it came out on Wednesday afternoon. 

The public sale was announced for several weeks but was not yet organized by the brothers, holders of Telegram. Indeed Gram and the messaging application are not officially linked. 

Gram bears the " Gram Asia  " signature, it is distinct from Telegram and is, in fact, a Korean company. In 2018, the company participated in the $ 1.7 billion cryptocurrency fundraising campaign, which enabled it to pre-sell the Gram.

On Wednesday, no less than 12.5 million Gram were sold for four dollars each. 

So that should make Gram one of the direct competitors of Libra, the cryptocurrency of Facebook.
