Obviously present at the Gamescom in Cologne from 20 to 24 August, Microsoft will install 200 stands that will allow onlookers to try, for the first time, its cloud gaming service still called xCloud.
If influencers and journalists have had the opportunity to test the goods at the E3 in early June, it will be the first time that the service of Microsoft will lend to the exercise of the general public.
The Horde mode of Gears 5 playable in exclusivity
We already know that, when available, xCloud will enjoy more than 3500 Xbox games from a smartphone or tablet. But to mark the blow and minds, Microsoft will be limited to a dozen playable titles at the European event.
Among the lucky ones, we will, of course, find the irresistible Minecraft, but also the highly anticipated Gears 5, whose Horde mode will be playable for the very first time before the release of the game on September 5th.
As a reminder, Microsoft has not yet unveiled all its plans for cloud gaming. However, the company plans to launch public tests for xCloud in the fall, but it is not known if France will be one of the selected countries. Google, on the other hand, will launch Stadia during November at a rate of € 9.99 per month.
