Volkswagen is entering the 100% electric car sharing market with its WeShare service.
With 1500 e-Golf, the Volkswagen brand introduces a fleet of 100% electric vehicles on Berlin's roads that will run on green energy.
Volkswagen launches WeShare in Berlin
For the launch of its electric car-sharing service, WeShare, in Berlin, Volkswagen has set up a fleet of 1,500 e-Golf. These will be followed by 500 e-Up! at the beginning of next year, then by the first units of the new ID.3 100% electric after its launch in mid-2020.
As a first step, the WeShare service will cover an area of approximately 150 square kilometers in the city center and beyond the city's peripheral rail belt.
