Announced during the Microsoft conference E3 2019, Blair Witch will arrive very soon on Xbox One and PC. While waiting for its release next month, the developers have put online a gameplay trailer that highlights the horror atmosphere of the game.

Inspired by the traumatic feature film of 1999 directed by Eduardo Sanchez and Daniel Myrick, Blair Witch is a first-person horror game that will send the player into the heart of the Black Hills Forest. We'll be checking out Ellis, a former police officer looking for a missing boy. Of course, supernatural events will not belong in the midst of this austere outburst. Monsters and madness will chase the unhappy hero of this chilling epic!
Another month to wait
It is the team of Bloober Team that is at the origin of this adaptation. The gameplay and artistry are reminiscent of certain Layers of Fear, the other flagship license of the studio. In this new trailer, we can enjoy an overview of the sets but also the use of the camera (in the manner of an Outlast ) and mobile phone. A dog, to whom it will be possible to give orders, will also accompany Ellis.
Blair Witch is expected on Xbox One and PC (via Steam and GOG) on August 30, 2019. For now, these are the only versions announced.
