On the occasion of the MWC Shanghai 2019, the Chinese manufacturer has lifted the veil on a pair of augmented reality glasses, which must connect to a smartphone 5G brand to operate.
The Asian manufacturer Vivo unveiled a prototype (AR) glasses at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Shanghai 2019, as we learn from a press release issued on June 26, 2019. A device equipped with two transparent screens and compatible with 6DoF (Six Degrees of Freedom) technology. To work, the device plugs directly into a branded 5G smartphone, unveiled later this week.
Diverse and varied users
In the idea, these glasses would offer a lot of immersive uses: AR games, professional applications, "5G theater", facial recognition and object recognition. The smartphone, meanwhile, would intervene as secondary support. For example, it would be used as a keyboard when using a desktop application.
No information on the characteristics of the glasses has been communicated.
