An approach that should guide the development of the Xbox "Scarlett", expected by the end of 2020.
Xbox Scarlett: more beautiful games, but also more fluid
Asked about the future Microsoft console, Phil Spencer said that, of course, "Scarlett" will be able to display graphics of much better quality than the current Xbox One X. But more than just focus on dressing Spencer explains that his teams also want to focus on the game sensations.
Although he does not specify his thought, we imagine that behind this term "sensation" hides a certain idea of fluidity. A hidden promise that, finally, all next-generation games will be able to hold 60 frames per second without cutting the resolution?
Also, we know that the Xbox "Scarlett" as the future PlayStation 5 will rely much on their SSD to drastically reduce load times. According to the first information gathered on the Sony console, the game Marvel's Spider-Man released in September 2018 saw its load times reduced from 8.10 to 0.83 seconds.
